Job summary

Precision Staffing is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Accountant in Cincinnati, OH to manage full-cycle accounting for multiple properties, including month-end close, financial statements, and CAM reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in commercial real estate, proficiency with Yardi/MRI/RealPage, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent Excel and communication skills; potential for performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience in commercial real estate or property management.
• Experience with multiple properties or entities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned commercial properties, including month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including tenant billing, rent collections, and vendor payments.
• Maintain lease information, recurring charges, rent escalations, and tenant billing records.
• Complete bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and reconcile CAM charges, property taxes, and insurance expenses.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Monitor property cash flow and financial performance.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and accounting policies.
• Assist with audits, tax reporting, and owner distributions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and accuracy.
