Job summary

Blue Line Search Group is seeking a Property Accountant in Cleveland, OH to own day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of commercial real estate. You will work directly with leadership, prepare financial statements, and support audits while developing a long-term career in real estate finance.

The role involves monthly close, reconciliations, CAM billing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A hybrid schedule is offered with opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience (commercial real estate or property management preferred).
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Manage finances for a commercial real estate portfolio at a respected, growing organization. You'll own day-to-day accounting for multiple properties, work directly with leadership, and build a long-term career in real estate finance.

What You'll Do

• Manage monthly and annual financial close for your assigned property portfolio.
• Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor property cash activity each month.
• Prepare and reconcile tenant billings, including Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges.
