Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned commercial properties, including month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including tenant billing, rent collections, and vendor payments.
• Maintain lease information, recurring charges, rent escalations, and tenant billing records.
• Complete bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and reconcile CAM charges, property taxes, and insurance expenses.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Monitor property cash flow and financial performance.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and accounting policies.
• Assist with audits, tax reporting, and owner distributions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of accounting experience in commercial real estate or property management, strong financial reporting skills, and experience with property management accounting software.

This position is responsible for managing financial operations across commercial properties, ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining accounting records, and supporting property owners and management teams.
