Job summary

Accountants One, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Real Estate Senior Property Accountant to join a 35+ year commercial real estate firm in Atlanta. The role focuses on full-cycle accounting for industrial, office, and retail properties and supporting Fortune 500 clients.

You will handle AR, AP, month-end close, CAM/Tax/Insurance billings, reconciliations, construction draws, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis, with opportunities to contribute to ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required.
• Experience in commercial/industrial real estate accounting.
• Experience with Yardi or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accounts receivable and cash applications across payment sources.
• Full-cycle accounts payable.
• Month end close.
• CAM/Tax/Insurance reconciliations and billings.
• Reconciling bank accounts, subsidiary ledgers and general ledger.
• Calculating and processing construction draws.
• Budgeting and cash flow forecasting support.
• Variance analysis of revenue, expenses and capital accounts.
• Ad hoc projects when required.

Urgent need for an ambitious Real Estate Senior Property Accountant. A commercial real estate company develops AND manages industrial, office, and retail properties and has Fortune 500 clients. Join a fun and growing office of great professionals at this 35+ year successful firm.

This Senior Property Accountant's responsibilities will include:

• Accounts receivable – Cash application from all payment sources, updating property managers and clients on delinquencies and collection activity
• Full-cycle accounts payable
• Month End Close
• CAM/Tax/Insurance Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reconciliations and billings
• Reconciliations of bank accounts, subsidiary ledgers to general ledger, and balance sheet accounts
• Calculating and processing construction draws
• Comparing Budget to Actual for active development projects
• Assist with Budgeting and cash flow forecasting
• Variance analysis actual to budget for revenue, expense, and capital accounts
• Ad Hoc Projects when required

Requirements:

• Accounting Degree
• Experience in commercial/industrial real estate accounting
• Experience in Yardi and/or MRI preferred
