Insurance Office of America in Florida seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team under supervision of an Account Manager, AE, or Producer. You will help ensure production and quality standards while safeguarding against liability from errors and omissions.

You will handle policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, submissions, and client communications, and assist in contract reviews to ensure proper coverages.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Process policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, lost policy releases, check requests, invoices, finance agreements, summaries of insurance, loss runs, MVRs, ID cards, certificates, binders, billing inaccuracies, and Agent of Record letters.
• Support new and renewal business with client research, underwriting information, loss run analysis, submissions, coverages and pricing evaluation, proposals, binding, and issuing policies.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy.
• Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain frequent communication with the account team regarding workload and issues.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek and adopt best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership in IOA values.
