Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client service support to the account team and producers. The role offers remote work within Eastern/Central Time Zones with a Florida location noted for supporting accounts in Longwood, FL.

You will manage policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, and related tasks while maintaining strong service standards and collaboration with the Account Manager, AE, or Producer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required, CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, lost policy releases, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business including research, submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals, binding, and follow-up for policy issuance.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and manage accounts receivable.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and best practices.
• Champion IOA values with integrity and leadership.
