Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate – Commercial Lines for remote work with occasional on-site needs in a Longwood, FL area policy. You will provide administrative and customer service support to the account team under supervision from AM/AE/Producer, ensuring quality and timely services for contracts and renewals.

The role emphasizes policy management, submissions, underwriting information gathering, and proactive client support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, professional designation (CISR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing inquiries.
• Assist in new and renewal business submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing, prepare proposals, bind coverage, and follow up for issuance.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Pursue continuous improvement and uphold IOA values.
