Job summary

Insurance Office of America in Florida is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client service support to the account team under supervision.

You will handle policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, and assist in submissions, pricing, and coverage negotiations, while maintaining data accuracy in agency systems and delivering proactive service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensure; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, lost policy releases, and related tasks.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, and present proposals.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts; collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with accurate data.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team; deliver proactive service.
