Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support within the account team. You will work under the guidance of an Account Manager, ensuring quality standards and accurate policy management while handling a mix of moderately complex client accounts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing day‑to‑day activities and workflow of team support/receptionist, account assistant, and/or account associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related policy documents.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, and present proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
