Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under the direction of the Account Manager, AE, or Producer. The role ensures production and quality standards while safeguarding against errors and omissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support and Account staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure timely renewals.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, and billing tasks.
• Support new and renewal business with underwriting information and proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests.
