Prosperity Bank is seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to grow and retain profitable client relationships in the Texas region. The role requires extensive product knowledge, credit process management, and the ability to independently manage client activities.

The candidate should have proven relationship-building skills, strong transaction execution, and the ability to cross-sell across the franchise over the long term. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred.
• Formal credit training or underwriting knowledge is preferred.
• Typically 4+ years in direct lending or credit support focusing on business relationships.
• Familiarity with sales, loan processing and closing processes.
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products and services, including CRE loans.

Responsibilities

• Solicit commercial clients and seek quality new business through calls, referrals, and cross selling.
• Obtain and maintain COIs and attend networking events in the geographic area.
• Engage in loan structuring and credit analysis.
• Generate a variety of commercial and real estate loans, typically $1M–$10M.
• Close loans and contribute to deposit growth by cross selling banking products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
