Prosperity Bank is seeking a Commercial Lender to grow and retain profitable relationships in Katy, TX. You will manage credit processes, structure loans, and cross-sell banking products while delivering value-added solutions to clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or related field preferred.
• Formally credit trained and/or underwriting knowledge preferred.
• Seven years direct lending or credit support experience focused on business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Solicit commercial clients; seek and obtain quality new business through calls, referrals, and cross selling.
• Obtain and maintain COIs and attend networking events in the assigned area.
• Demonstrate loan structuring and credit analysis skills.
• Generate a wide variety of commercial and real estate loans.
• Close loans typically in the $1 million to $10 million range.
• Contribute to deposit growth by cross selling and promoting banking products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
