Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial credit involving complex transactions
• Experience in asset-based lending required both in underwriting and monitoring

Responsabilités

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions, including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits
• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers
• Collaborate with others to meet deadlines and produce outcomes
• Perform follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history
• Maintain knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, and competition
• Ensure credit-related follow-up items are reflected on systems
• Support lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions
• Coordinate with lending units to monitor maturities and current pipeline
• Represent Credit Department in weekly loan committee meetings
• Coach and mentor junior credit associates
• Occasionally accompany Relationship Managers on client meetings
