Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite commercial loans across real estate, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, and unsecured transactions. The role emphasizes cash flow analysis, collateral evaluation, and solid loan recommendations.

You will review financial statements, borrowing base certificates, and related reports, while supporting lending officers and sharing insights in weekly loan committee discussions.

Qualifications

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions across CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits.
• Analyze financial statements focusing on cash flow, debt service, projections and trend analysis.
• Demonstrate highly developed analytical skills and strong written/verbal communication, with sound decision making.
• Maintain rigorous attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions, which includes CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits
• Clearly communicate with internal and external customers
• Work with others to produce needed outcomes and meet deadlines
• Complete follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history
• Maintain up to date knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, and competition
• Ensure credit related follow-up items are reflected on follow-up systems
• Provide support to lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions
• Partner with lending units to maintain oversight of future loan maturities and current pipeline
• Be an active participant in weekly loan committee meetings as a representative of the Credit Department
• Assist the Credit Manager in providing coaching and mentoring to junior credit associates
• Accompany Relationship Managers on calls and participate in client meetings
