Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust in the United States seeks a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite complex commercial loans secured by real estate, inventory, and receivables. You will analyze cash flow, collateral, and financial statements to support sound lending decisions.

The role requires deep underwriting experience, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with lending teams and clients to meet deadlines and manage risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial credit involving complex transactions.
• Experience in asset based lending required both in underwriting and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions, which includes CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits
• Clearly communicate with internal and external customers
• Work with others to produce needed outcomes and meet deadlines
• Complete follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history
• Maintain up to date knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, and competition
• Ensure credit related follow-up items (primarily financial statements, Borrowing Base Certificates and Covenant compliance certificates) are reflected on the follow-up systems
• Provide support to lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions
• Partner with lending units to maintain oversight of future loan maturities and current pipeline to ensure deadlines are met and maintain a high level of customer service
• Be an active participant in weekly loan committee meetings as a representative of the Credit Department
• Assist the Credit Manager in providing coaching and mentoring to junior credit associates
• At times, accompany Relationship Managers on customer calls and participate in client meetings
