Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial credit involving complex transactions.
• Experience in asset-based lending in underwriting and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• :Underwrite commercial loan transactions, including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits
• Clearly communicate with internal and external customers and work to meet deadlines
• Provide support to lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions
• Partner with lending units to oversee future loan maturities and current pipeline
• Attend weekly loan committee meetings as a Credit Department representative
• Assist the Credit Manager in coaching and mentoring junior credit associates
• Occasionally accompany Relationship Managers on client calls and meetings
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial industry, economy, and competition
