Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to oversee underwriting across commercial loan transactions secured by real estate, accounts receivable, inventory, or fixed assets. You will evaluate cash flow, collateral, and overall credit risk to produce solid recommendations.

This role partners with lending teams, participates in loan committee meetings, and mentors junior analysts while staying current on industry trends and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in commercial credit involving complex transactions.
• Experience in asset-based lending in underwriting and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with teams to meet deadlines and outcomes.
• Perform follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history.
• Stay current on financial industry trends, economy, and competition.
• Ensure follow-up items (statements, certificates, covenants) are tracked.
• Support lending officers in structuring potential transactions.
• Partner with lending units to manage maturities and pipeline.
• Participate in weekly loan committee meetings.
• Mentor junior credit associates.
• Join client meetings with Relationship Managers when needed.
