Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager III to join our team. This position will effectively carry out the relationship management process by growing market share, broadening revenue mix, retaining customers and managing portfolios.

You will implement aggressive sales and marketing strategies, develop new and existing relationships, identify prospects, and provide leadership while supporting credit risk assessments and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Five (5) or more years of commercial banking experience.
• Proven ability to grow market share and manage portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Implement an aggressive sales and marketing strategy to develop new and existing relationships.
• Identify and develop prospects into significant new relationships with yearly income goals.
• Cross-sell opportunities and expand revenue streams.
• Ensure accurate credit review and monitoring of client financials and collateral.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain compliant banking practices.
