Job summary

Truist in Lexington, KY is seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to identify, solicit, develop, manage, service, retain and grow long-term profitable client relationships for commercial clients with $5MM to $75MM in annual sales.

You will leverage Truist’s Industry & Advisory teams to create the optimal client experience, refer business through IRM, and manage an assigned book using CRM tools. Levels I–III differentiate by experience and portfolio size.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• 8+ years of experience establishing new business relationships and retaining/growing existing ones.
• Strong command of credit and finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Truist Sales Process, Financial Insights, and Industry & Advisory teams to deliver a differentiated client experience.
• Manage, service and grow an assigned book of commercial banking clients.
• Execute prospecting activities to grow new commercial banking households; contribute to credit decisioning and underwriting according to policy.
• Drive portfolio revenue growth and new production revenue.
• Contact clients to develop commercial banking relationships using Integrated Relationship Management (IRM).
• Identify all business and personal financial needs and bring in appropriate partners to deliver Truist solutions; monitor sales activity and CRM data.
• Execute on risk, operational, policy and quality expectations for the client portfolio.
