Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in the United States seeks an experienced Commercial Banking professional to identify, solicit, develop, and grow relationships handling $5MM-$75MM in sales. You will offer loans, deposits, and fee-based services and coordinate with Industry & Advisory teams to create the optimal client experience.

The role emphasizes IRM, client retention, and revenue growth, with focus on risk, CRM usage, and collaboration with partners to deliver Truist solutions for business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• More than eight (8) years of experience establishing new business relationships and retaining/growing existing business relationships.
• Strong command of credit and finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Leverage the Truist Sales Process, Financial Insights, and the Industry & Advisory team to deliver a differentiated client experience in all client, prospect and COI interactions.
• Manage, service and grow an assigned book of commercial banking clients.
• Execute on prospecting activities to grow new commercial banking households.
• Understand and contribute to the credit decisioning process, including analysis and interpretation of financial statements, credit structuring, underwriting requirements, policy knowledge, risk identification and mitigation.
• Monitor, maintain and update sales activity, pipeline and other pertinent information using the Bank’s CRM system.
