Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an IT Configuration Manager to lead configuration management across enterprise IT environments. You will govern the CMDB, ensure data integrity, and support change, incident, and problem management for mission-critical services.

The role requires 8+ years in CMDB/ITSM, hands-on ServiceNow or BMC Remedy experience, and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in configuration management, CMDB administration, or ITSM roles supporting enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with CMDB concepts and ITIL guidance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for CMDB deployments and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CMDB data model, structures, and relationships for infra and app CIs.
• Establish and enforce CMDB policies and naming conventions per ITIL and enterprise standards.
• Integrate CMDB data with change, incident, and problem workflows for impact analysis.
• Conduct configuration audits and remediation with owning teams to ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with platform admins to optimize CMDB in ServiceNow and related tools.
