Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 8+ years in configuration management, CMDB administration, or ITSM roles.
• Strong understanding of CM principles; hands-on with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the CMDB system, data model, and relationships.
• Establish CM policies and naming conventions aligned to ITIL and standards.
• Integrate CM data with change, incident, and problem workflows.
• Conduct regular CM audits and remediation in coordination with owners.
• Collaborate with platform admins to optimize CMDB in ServiceNow and Remedy.
• Produce reports and visuals for capacity planning, risk, and compliance.
• Coordinate with ITIL processes to keep configuration data accurate.
• Lead or contribute to CMDB implementations and improvements across hybrid environments.
