Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for factory production support. You will evaluate test results, identify root causes, and guide rework and retesting of assemblies. Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with standard electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
• Experience troubleshooting CCAs, sub-assemblies, and complex systems.
• Experience with circuit components like Op-Amps, Multiplexers, H-bridges, ADC/DACs.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings or electrical schematics.
• Experience designing experiments to troubleshoot failures (RCCA).
• Preference for RF production experience.
• Experience measuring VSWR, Sensitivity, and Dynamic Range.
• Troubleshooting SNR issues and spurious anomalies.
• Knowledge of statistical data analysis.
• Ability to read memory maps and datasheets.
• Strong data-analytic skills to identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate test results of complex assemblies and determine root causes.
• Provide directions for reworking and retesting failed assemblies.
• Track trends to detect systemic problems and implement corrective actions.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs for CCAs and sub-assemblies in programs like AMRAAM, Harpoon, SM2.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting aids, tools, and documentation for production and test processes.
• Work to reduce cycle time and production costs.
