Job summary

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defence company, seeks an Electrical Engineer I for factory production support in McKinney, TX. You will evaluate test results, determine root causes, and work with manufacturing engineering, factory operations and quality engineers to drive improvements.

The role is first shift (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Mon-Fri, with an optional 9/80 schedule) with occasional weekend support to meet production needs. A STEM degree and lab/test experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
• Experience in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment.
• Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and documenting test results.
• Experience developing and executing a test plan.
• Experience in data analysis for identifying trends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting systems failing test, identifying failure cause, documenting and dispositioning hardware for repair.
• Operation of electrical test equipment.
• Investigation of failure trends for root cause and implementation of corrective actions.
• Supporting team leads in drafting RCCA packages to management.
• Participation in teams to resolve technical issues and improve yields and cycle time.
