Job summary

RTX in McKinney, Texas is seeking a Senior SMT Process Engineer to join the CCA Process Engineering team. This role supports RF microelectronic packaging and SMT in a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment, driving process improvements and capital equipment integration.

Responsibilities include leading SMT process control, DOE and RCCA, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust product designs and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SMT equipment and process validation.
• Experience with yield improvement and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for high-volume, high-mix production addressing equipment, processes, materials, and product challenges.
• Collaborate with product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing engineers on product manufacturing.
• Develop and implement materials, processes, and production support using SPC, DOE, material analysis and root cause analysis.
