RTX in McKinney, TX seeks an Electrical Engineer II for factory production support within Manufacturing Engineering. You will evaluate test results, determine root causes, and guide rework and retesting of complex assemblies.

You will work with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineering, factory operations, and quality engineers to improve yields, test procedures, and cycle times. U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance after day 1 are required.

Competenze

• Typically requires STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with standard electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies is required.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings or electrical schematics.

Mansioni

• Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot failing test systems; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate failure trends and perform root cause analysis; implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs for CCAs, sub-assemblies, and systems for programs at McKinney CMC (AMRAAM, Harpoon, SM2).
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting aids, tools, and documentation for production and test processes.
• Work on initiatives to reduce cycle time, minimize touch time, and optimize production costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production challenges.
• Operate standard electrical equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies) for troubleshooting and evaluations.
