Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Account Manager in Virginia to be the principal technical advisor for Enterprise Support TAM. You will guide customers from startups to Gov.

entities to adopt and optimize AWS services across compute, storage, databases, and AI. Candidates need 5+ years in design/implementation/ops with distributed apps, plus GovCloud eligibility and US citizenship. Travel ~10%+.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• This role supports US Federal government customers; GovCloud access requires US citizenship and background checks.

Responsibilities

• The TAM role is not directly hands on; you will coordinate with engineers to drive issue resolution.
• Proactively craft and execute strategies to drive customers' adoption and use of AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, IoT, etc.).
• Represent AWS in customer environments and guide discussions with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
