Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support customers across industries, acting as the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to AWS product teams.

This role focuses on strategic guidance across Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, AI/ML, and more, not a sales position. You will travel to customer sites as needed and partner with enterprise customers from startups to Global 500 companies to drive operational excellence and risk management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute technical cloud strategies to drive customers’ adoption and use of AWS services.
• Represent AWS to customers and drive discussions with senior leadership on operational excellence, cloud maturity, support, and risk management.
• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices, and keep AWS environments healthily operational.
• Willingness and ability to travel 10% or more as needed.
