Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as the principal technical advisor to Enterprise Support customers. You will craft strategies to drive adoption of AWS services and work with engineers to resolve complex issues while ensuring customers achieve maximum value from AWS.

This is a non-sales role that emphasizes strategic guidance, risk management, and strong customer relationships across diverse industries. A travel commitment of about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/math or equivalent
• 5+ years designing/operating distributed applications
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience
• Experience with AWS or other cloud services

Responsibilities

• Advocate and craft strategies to drive customer adoption of AWS services.
• Collaborate with engineers and service teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
• Represent AWS in customer environments and discuss incidents, trade-offs, and risk with senior leadership.
• Travel approximately 10% or more as needed.
