Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as the principal technical advisor to Enterprise Support customers.

You will guide strategic technical decisions, drive adoption of AWS services, and coordinate with engineers to resolve issues while maintaining a strong customer relationship. You will work with executives to discuss incidents, risk, and trade-offs, and travel up to 10% or more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, math, or related discipline required.
• 7+ years of technical engineering experience.
• 7+ years of experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in a distributed systems environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
• Drive adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more.
• Represent AWS in customer environments and discuss incidents with senior leadership regarding trade-offs, support and risk management.
• Travel 10% or more as needed.
