Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for AWS Enterprise Support in the United States. You will be the principal technical advisor to enterprise customers, guiding strategy, incidents, and risk management while driving adoption of AWS services.

You will work with senior stakeholders across Compute, Storage, Database, Security, and more, traveling as needed and collaborating with engineers to resolve issues and optimize environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, math, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
• Knowledge of cloud-based architecture and customer-facing roles.
• Experience in designing cloud solutions for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
• Drive adoption and use of AWS services including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront and more.
• Represent AWS in a customer environment and discuss incidents, trade-offs, and risk management with senior leadership.
• Travel 10% or more as needed to support customers.
