Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as the principal technical advisor for Enterprise Support customers in the US government space. You will guide architecture, incident response, and service adoption across EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and AI-related services.

You will collaborate with engineers to plan solutions, manage customer environments, and lead discussions with senior leadership. Travel of about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Citizenship and background checks eligibility for GovCloud.
• Experience in 24x7 operational services or support environment.
• Experience as a technical lead in enterprise or customer-facing settings.

Responsibilities

• The TAM serves as principal technical advisor to AWS Enterprise Support customers.
• Guide adoption of AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Gen/AI).
• Collaborate with engineers/service teams to resolve incidents and manage risk.
• Travel 10% or more as needed.
