Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Enterprise Support Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as the principal technical advisor for customers ranging from startups to Fortune 500s. Based in Boston, MA, you will drive adoption of AWS services and partner with engineers to ensure operational health and resilience.

This is not a sales role but a high-visibility technical leadership position. You will work with senior stakeholders to discuss incidents, trade-offs, and risk, and you will

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role such as technical account manager, consultant, solutions architect, platform engineer, systems engineer, cloud architect, or service delivery manager
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for two of the following: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, or applications development in a distributed systems environment
• Experience designing, implementing, operating or consulting on distributed applications

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices
• Collaborate with engineers and service teams to resolve issues and drive customer outcomes
• Drive adoption and usage of AWS services including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront and more
• Represent AWS to customers and discuss incidents, trade-offs, support and risk with senior leadership
• Travel approximately 10% or more as needed
