Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support and influence our customers' innovative use of AWS across compute, storage, database, and AI/ML.

You will be the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer to AWS product teams, guiding enterprises from startups to Global 500 on AWS services and best practices. This role emphasizes strategic guidance, operational excellence, and risk management, with travel of 10%+ as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment
• Experience as a technical lead in internal/external customer-facing environment
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
• Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute technical cloud strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services.
• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices; travel 10%+ as needed.
• TAM is the centerpiece of value to Enterprise Support customers and act as voice of the customer to AWS product teams.
