Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to be the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer for AWS Enterprise Support clients in Arlington, VA. You will guide adoption of AWS services, advocate best-practice solutions, and ensure operational health across customer environments.

You will collaborate with internal engineering teams, lead technical discussions with senior leadership, and travel 10% or more as required, delivering scalable architectures and reliable support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design, implementation, operations, or consulting with distributed applications.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
• Experience in an internal enterprise or external customer-facing technical lead environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer for AWS Enterprise Support customers.
• Craft and execute strategies to drive adoption of AWS services and advocate for best-practice solutions.
• Maintain the operational health of the customer’s environment and coordinate with internal teams.
• Resolve incidents by working with engineering and service teams.
• Lead discussions with senior leadership about incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
• Travel 10% or more as required.
