Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for Games, TMEGS, in Santa Monica. You will lead architecture efforts, help customers migrate workloads to the cloud, and drive adoption of AWS solutions across large enterprises and startups.

This role focuses on game-related workloads and cloud-native designs. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and customers to articulate technical value, present to executives, and mentor teams. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Build and migrate applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• Partner with the sales team to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
• Educate customers on AWS value and participate in deep architectural discussions for cloud deployments.
• Conduct trainings for customers adopting AWS solutions.
• Share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications and white papers.
• Build relationships with senior technical personnel to enable cloud advocacy.
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering, and support.
