Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for Games, TMEGS, to lead architecture discussions, design scalable game services, and partner with the sales team to drive adoption of AWS across gaming customers.

You will mentor customers and internal teams, craft reference architectures, deliver training, and produce usable white papers, while building deep executive relationships and guiding deployments in the cloud.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the solution architecture team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform
• Partner with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions for successful deployment in the cloud
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable cloud advocacy
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
