Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead the AWS database modernization for the Hospice business unit, migrating SQL Server to AWS RDS or upgrading on EC2, and modernizing SSIS/SSRS with cloud-native options.

You will drive cost optimization, establish monitoring with Datadog and CloudWatch, and mentor the Hospice DBA team on cloud database operations and best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in database administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of the SQL Server modernization on EC2: migration to AWS RDS (SQL Server) and/or in-place version upgrade off SQL Server 2016 ahead of end of support, including compatibility and upgrade testing.
