Job summary
Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join the Technology Platform team for the Hospice business unit. You will lead the AWS database modernization, migrating SQL Server workloads to AWS RDS or upgrading on EC2, and modernizing SSIS/SSRS workloads while optimizing costs.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in database administration.
- Deep expertise with Microsoft SQL Server (2016+) performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server version upgrades and end-of-support migrations (off SQL Server 2016).
- Strong hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS.
- Experience with AWS RDS (SQL Server) setup, migration, monitoring.
- Experience with AWS-native ETL and data migration tooling (AWS DMS, AWS Glue).
- Experience with Terraform for database infrastructure management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the SQL Server modernization on EC2: migrate to AWS RDS or upgrade from SQL Server 2016.
- Migrate and maintain SSIS ETL packages and SSRS reports, possibly to AWS-native ETL/reporting.
- Drive database cost optimization and right-sizing.
- Upskill Hospice SQL DBA team on AWS database operations.
