Job summary

Vaya Partners is seeking a Claims System Manager to lead a team of systems analysts in managing and enhancing the claims management system and related applications. You will define the strategic roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to Medicaid rules and organizational policies.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, BRD governance, vendor contract oversight, and timely issue resolution, with a focus on delivering streamlined solutions aligned with ISD objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; seven years of management experience in data systems or health information management is a plus.
• Experience leading medium to large teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Medicaid rules, especially North Carolina Medicaid, and familiarity with claims processing software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Claims Systems Analysts and staff; manage hiring, performance evaluations, and mentoring.
• Oversee BRDs, vendor contracts, and ticket resolution with timely status updates.
• Define and communicate the strategic roadmap for the claims management system; ensure project alignment with ISD standards.
• Track BRD progress, vendor performance, and issue escalations; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
