Job summary

Vaya Partners is seeking a Claims System Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversee a team of systems analysts responsible for managing the claims management system and related applications. You will define the strategic roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

In this role, you will manage BRDs, vendor contracts, and ticket resolution, while ensuring compliance with policies and Medicaid rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in management of data systems; experience in claims or health insurance systems is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in a management/supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and vendors responsible for system configuration, development, implementation, maintenance, and support.
• Provide regular status updates to upper management and stakeholders.
• Manage BRDs, vendor contracts, and ticket resolution; escalate risks.
• Develop and communicate strategic roadmaps for the claims system.
• Coordinate with ISD, PMO, and other teams to align projects with goals.
