Job summary

Vaya Partners is seeking a Claims System Manager to provide strategic leadership of the claims management system and related applications. You will guide a team of analysts, align initiatives with our organizational goals, and work with cross‑functional partners to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

This remote role requires overseeing BRDs, vendor contracts, and ticket resolution while maintaining regulatory compliance, including North Carolina Medicaid rules.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of health claims processing software systems.
• Knowledge of insurance principles and Medicaid rules, especially NC Medicaid laws.
• Experience with project management methodologies and PM tools.
• Experience leading medium-to-large teams and managing vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/IS Management or related field; 7+ years in management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and vendors for system configuration, development, and support.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and escalations.
• Manage BRDs, vendor contracts, and service desk tickets.
• Develop and communicate strategic roadmap for claims management software.
• Direct staffing and oversee PMO-aligned projects.
