Job summary

Vaya Partners is seeking a Claims System Manager to provide strategic leadership for the claims management system and related applications within the Information Services division. You will guide a team of systems analysts, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and define the roadmap to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities include supervising staff and vendors, managing BRDs and contracts, prioritizing the backlog, and delivering timely status updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Health Information Management, or closely related field.
• Seven years of experience in management of data systems, focus on claims or health insurance systems is a plus.
• Minimum five years experience in a management/supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and vendors responsible for system configuration, development, implementation, maintenance, and support.
• Escalate items behind schedule or at risk; provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Manage BRDs, vendor contracts, and ticket resolution; track status and outcomes.
• Develop and communicate organizational vision and direction to Claims System team and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects align with ISD architecture and business goals; address escalations promptly.
