Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to independently manage small to large water conveyance projects in the United States. You will evaluate designs, lead calculations, coordinate field work, mentor junior staff, and ensure reliable, cost-effective solutions.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, client relationships, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver high-quality civil systems design across multiple locations, including Colorado and Arizona.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related engineering field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple projects, including large, complex work.
• Serves as Engineer-of-Record on projects.
• Provide technical leadership and client relationship management.
• Guide junior staff and ensure technical accuracy and quality.
• Lead project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Support project budgets and financial performance.
