Job summary

Stantec’s Water-US Delivery team in the United States (Denver, CO) seeks a senior civil engineer to lead conveyance design projects, manage client relationships, and guide technical direction for water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.

You will oversee project scopes, budgets, and schedules, collaborate with engineers and consultants, and develop design standards while supporting business development and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or related field; advanced degree desirable.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Colorado, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in water, wastewater, and/or stormwater conveyance design projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple projects of high complexity.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record.
• Provide technical leadership for civil projects and manage client relationships.
• Guide team through technically complex projects and act as resource.
