Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Water Resources Engineer to work independently on small to large projects and mentor junior staff. You will evaluate, specify, and engineer civil systems, lead analyses for reliability and cost-effectiveness, and coordinate with clients and teams across disciplines.

Minimum 7–8 years’ experience in hydrology/hydraulics, stormwater, and related fields; Bachelor’s in Civil/Environmental Engineering; PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 7–8 years of experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater BMP implementation, water quality, stream restoration, and floodplain analyses.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple projects with high complexity.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record and provide technical leadership for civil projects.
• Manage client relationships and cultivate new business opportunities.
• Lead technically complex projects and guide team members.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in develop of proposals and contracts.
