Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Water Resource Engineer to work independently on smaller projects and as part of larger teams. You will evaluate, specify, and engineer civil systems, including gravity and drainage design, for diverse projects.

The role involves leading design efforts, coordinating with clients and regulators, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer is required.
• 8–12 years of experience in civil/water resources projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer-of-Record on assigned projects.
• Perform complex hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and prepare reports.
• Lead design development, drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage project scope and schedule.
