Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced civil engineer with design and construction expertise in gravity sewer, force mains, water distribution, and transmission mains to serve as Engineer-of-Record on local and regional projects in the Southwest. Lead technical delivery and ensure quality across multiple projects.

You will mentor staff, manage client relationships, contribute to scoping and proposals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance iconic water projects that benefit communities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE registration within 6 months preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in water, wastewater, or stormwater conveyance design.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead water conveyance design projects across the Southwest.
• Prepare and deliver technical specifications and civil construction documents.
• Manage client relationships and project scoping, value analysis, and cost estimating meetings.
• Supervise engineers and project staff, setting priorities and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors; lead constructability reviews.
