Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to independently manage small and large projects and work as a team member on more complex assignments. You will evaluate and specify civil systems, perform calculations, and lead design from proposal through construction.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and quality assurance, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies. This role requires PE licensure in CO or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Colorado, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in water, wastewater, and/or stormwater conveyance design projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple projects, including large, complex assignments.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record and provide technical leadership for civil projects.
• Lead project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, owners and contractors; mentor junior staff.
