Job summary

Ensono seeks a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer with deep CICS TS expertise to support premium mainframe services for clients. The role involves handling CSOs, troubleshooting CICS TS, and participating in 24/7 operations across time zones.

Responsibilities include installing OEM products, preparing partitions for annual OS upgrades, migrating customers, and coordinating with Disaster Recovery. Strong teamwork and independent work style are essential for success in this fast-moving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years experience on the zSeries mainframe with CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Deep knowledge of CICS TS and tailoring of related OEM products.
• Experience with IBM SMP/E.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of CICS TS concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for z/OS customers relating to CICS TS and OEM products.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS issues.
• Offer 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Install OEM products per best practices and Ensono standards.
• Coordinate partition preparations for annual OS upgrades.
• Support customer migrations involving CICS TS and OEM products.
• Assist project manager to ensure timely migrations.
• Work with Disaster Recovery to execute DR plans.
• Adhere to schedule to optimize resources and timely implementations.
• Follow ITSM change control procedures and implement fixes.
